Da Nang to further improve investment environment in 2019

In 2019, the central city of Da Nang will strive to improve investment and business climate, ease difficulties facing the firms and create favourable conditions for their development, according to Da Nang authorities.

Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Truong Quang Nghia said positive signs have been observed in the realization of most of the socio-economic targets, as the city’s economy maintains stable growth and gross domestic product (GDP) rises 7.86% over the last year.

In the next year, local authorities will review and continue the implementation of the existing investment promotion mechanisms and policies, as well as offer new incentives to attract more domestic and foreign investors.

At the same time, Da Nang is set to continue administrative reforms and maintain its high ranking of the provincial competitiveness index, along with building suitable infrastructure to lure investment.

The city is also expected to improve human resources and vocational training quality, while boosting links with educational establishments and local firms and investors, especially in the prioritized fields.

Besides, Da Nang will bolster anti-corruption and activities against wastefulness, in tandem with building a transparent administration and raising efficiency of State management.
