The factory will be built on an area of 4 hectares and will apply the most modern production technology from Ultra Pure Core-IJL Ltd - the leading optical fibre company in Israel.

It is expected to produce 1 million kilometers of optical fibre per year, to help meet local demand and for export to Europe, the US and Asia. VFO has brought a new breakthrough in the technology to the world’s optical fibre market.

Nguyen Dinh Thi, President of the company’s management board said that the project will effectively promote economic cooperation between Vietnam and Israel in the hi-tech field. In future, VFO aims to become the leading provider of optical fibre for Vietnam’s telecommunications and electricity enterprises as well as for other nations in the world.
