Businesses to explore export opportunities in Turkey and Spain
VOV.VN - Vietnamese businesses will join a trade promotion mission to Turkey and Spain from August 25 to September 3, in an effort to expand export markets and connect with distribution networks across Europe, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Promotion Agency.
The programme aims to help Vietnamese companies seek potential partners, assess market conditions and establish links with key distributors in Turkey and Spain, which are considered important gateways connecting Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
The delegation is expected to comprise 16 to 20 enterprises operating in sectors such as roasted and instant coffee, green and black tea, herbal tea, coconut water, fruit juice, nuts, cereals, dried fruits, spices, nutritional and organic foods, and Halal products.
Firms in machinery, equipment, spare parts, new technologies, digital transformation and green transition sectors are also encouraged to participate.
On August 27, the delegation is scheduled to take part in exhibition and business matching activities at F-Istanbul 2026, one of the key food industry trade fairs in Turkey, alongside B2B meetings with Turkish companies.
From August 28 to 29, the group will work with the Vietnamese Trade Office in Turkey and the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). The programme also includes visits to wholesale food markets, logistics hubs and import distribution systems in Istanbul.
After Turkey, the delegation will continue its programme in Spain from August 30 to September 1, focusing on surveys of wholesale and retail distribution systems and logistics networks.
Participants will also engage in business matching sessions with local importers and distributors, and work with key trade partners in the Spanish market.
The programme includes visits to major retail chains such as Alcampo (Auchan), Eroski S. Coop and DIA Group, as well as engaging in business matchmaking and meeting with key local distributors and import-export firms.
