Brisk trade at Tet market for Vietnamese in Lao capital city

VOV.VN - Shops on many streets in Vientiane, Laos have been a bustle of trade in recent days, selling a wide range of goods to serve Vietnamese people as they prepare for the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet).

Traders say they have a wider range of goods on offer for this year’s Tet than in previous years but their prices remain unchanged.

In addition to the goods made by overseas Vietnamese such as Chung cakes, pork pies, and pickled welsh onion, most other products are imported from Vietnam.
