Bac Giang lychees to go on sale through six local e-commerce platforms

VOV.VN - Bac Giang lychees are to be sold simultaneously across all six major Vietnamese e-commerce platforms starting from June 6, according to information given by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The move comes following the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy working closely alongside six major local e-commerce platforms, including Sendo (FPT), Voso (Viettel Post), Tiki- BigC/GO, Shopee, Lazada, and Postmart (VnPost), all of whom are keen to start selling Bac Giang lychees.

This marks the first time that Bac Giang lychees have been distributed in an organised manner across all six e-commerce platforms. To coincide with this, the Bac Giang Lychee Festival will start at 8:00 a.m. on June 8.

Representatives from each of the online marketplaces have confirmed that the co-operation is being done with the aim of assisting Bac Giang province to sell its lychee products nationwide, as well as helping other provincial cooperatives to sell their agriculture products across a range of e-commerce platforms.

The official opening date when Bac Giang lychee products will go on sale is June 6.
