Vietnam’s aquatic exports in April reached US$3 million or 25 percent of the annual target, raising turnover in the first 4 months to US$1.098 billion, a rise of 8.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
Its stable growth rate was due to the depreciation of the US dollar and large orders for catfish products from European countries.
The total output of aquatic products in April was estimated at 1.19 million tonnes, up 7.4 percent compared with the same period last year.
