Airport service charges to rise Oct. 1
(VOV) - The charges levied on the airlines by the airports to cover the costs of such items as take-off, landing and parking of aircraft are set to rise on October 1, leading many industry analysts to predict air flight ticket prices are in the offing.
Airport fees in group A are rising from VND60,000-VND70,000 per passenger.
Fees in group B’s airport fees are climbing from VND50,000-VND60,000 per passenger.
The fees paid by the airlines for other services such as screening passengers and luggage for security are also increasing by VND10,000 per domestic passenger and US$1.5 per international passenger , a 10% rise compared to current charges.
