During the forum, jointly held by the national agricultural promotion centre and the Binh Phuoc provincial department of agriculture and rural development, participants shared their experiences in intercropping cocoa and cashew in Binh Phuoc, which can help improve the living standards of moutainous and ethnic minority people who are planting cashews for a living.

The forum is part of the Golden Cashew Festival, which is taking place in Binh Phuoc province.

On the same day, the provincial Women’s Union, in coordination with the provincial Youth Union, held a street food and drink festival in which the teams showed their skills in processing dishes from cashews.

The festival not only honours the cashew but also is a good chance to introduce the local specialties to visitors.
