Licences have been granted to 40 projects abroad with a total investment of US$200 million since early this year, said the Overseas Investment Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Most of the projects focus on trade, services and production in markets such as Cambodia, the US, Germany and the Middle East.

However, over the past four months Cambodia has attracted more investment than anywhere else.

Total investment in two projects aimed at establishing an AgriBank branch and growing rubber trees in the country has reached almost US$78 million.
