68 companies honoured for business ethics and corporate culture
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on January 10 honoured 68 companies as “Cultural and Credible Enterprises 2025”, recognising firms that combine business performance with ethical conduct, transparency and social responsibility, amid the country’s push for more sustainable corporate growth.
The awards were announced by VCCI following a nationwide evaluation process linked to the Party’s resolutions on developing a modern, responsible business community.
According to VCCI, 264 companies submitted applications for the annual programme. After a preliminary screening, 100 candidates advanced to the final round, where an independent council assessed companies against criteria including legal compliance, financial transparency, economic value creation, environmental protection and social responsibility.
Sixty-eight companies were ultimately selected for recognition, with the top 20 receiving certificates of merit from the VCCI President.
Nguyen Thi Chung Tinh, chief executive of Hoang Phan JSC, one of the award recipients, said building a distinct corporate culture has helped strengthen internal cohesion and long-term relationships with customers. She affirmed that product quality, competitive pricing and professional services remain central to maintaining trust in a competitive market.
Speaking at the ceremony, VCCI President Ho Sy Hung noted ethical business practices and corporate culture are becoming a core pillar of sustainable development, particularly as Vietnamese companies expand internationally.
Enterprises that uphold integrity, comply with the law and place credibility at the centre of their operations tend to build long-term competitiveness and public trust, Hung said.
He added that corporate culture today extends beyond transparency and compliance to include how companies manage their impact on workers, communities and the environment – areas that feature prominently in the programme’s evaluation framework.
The annual ranking, VCCI said, aims not only to recognise outstanding companies but also to promote shared standards of business ethics, credibility and responsible governance across the corporate sector.
