The Ha Long Shipbuilding Company, under the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin), handed over a 53,000-tonne vessel to the Orange Ocean Company of Germany on March 22.

The vessel, 190m long, 32.26m wide and 17.5m high, was designed by a Danish company, Carl Bro and inspected by a Norwegian company, DNV.

This was the sixth 53,000-tonne vessel built to order by the Ha Long Shipbuilding Company.
