National Assembly deputies have expressed hope that the new government will build on the past successes and issue timely policies for socio-economic development. 

VOV.VN - Truong Hoa Binh, Vuong Dinh Hue and Trinh Dinh Dung have been assigned to the post of Deputy Prime Ministers by the National Assembly.

VOV.VN - The assignment of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Prime Ministers and other Government members has been adopted at the 11th session of the 13th National Assembly (NA).

Chairwoman of the National Election Council (NEC) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan presented a proposal on relieving several NEC Vice Chairs and members from duties during the 13th NA’s April 9 meeting. 

VOV.VN - On April 9, the National Assembly voted to approve a resolution adopting the Prime Minister’s proposal on assigning 21 Government members through secret ballots.

VOV.VN - On April 8, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc submitted a list of nominated candidates for the positions of deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other Government officials.

VOV.VN - The National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman,  the State President, the Prime Minister, and the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court gave oath speeches according to the Constitution after being elected to new positions by the NA.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc submitted proposals on removing several Deputy Prime Ministers, a number of ministers and other Cabinet members to the 13 th National Assembly’s 11th meeting in Hanoi on April 8.

Preparations are being hastened in Hanoi for the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils for the 2016 – 2021 tenure. 

VOV.VN - With the support of 450 or 91.09% of the total National Assembly deputies, Ms Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh was elected new Vice State President on April 8.
