VOV.VN  -National Assembly deputies discussed a plan on economic restructuring until 2020 towards sustainability and a farming focus at the ongoing second session of the 14th National Assembly in Hanoi on November 3.

The National Assembly heard explanations presented by two ministers on policies for ethnic minorities and mountainous regions, and the environmental impacts of power plants, among other issues, at the November 3 morning session. 

Resources should be invested in strategic targets to meet requirements of economic restructuring and maintain a suitable growth in the future, a NA deputy has said.

VOV.VN - The economic restructuring plan for 2016-2020 is being discussed for the first time at the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly. The plan is to create an appropriate economic structure to achieve greater economic growth.

The restructuring of agriculture sector towards high technology was a highlight of the National Assembly’s debate on November 2.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on November 1 signed into issuance a resolution on several major policies and guidelines to continue renewing growth model; improving growth quality, labour productivity and economic competitiveness.
