Preparations for 10th Military Party Congress under discussion

In his speech, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said the the congress should focus on improving the fighting capacity and leadership of the Party committee, building a revolutionary people’s army, foiling subversive plots by hostile forces, and maintaining a peaceful, stable environment for national construction and defense.


He also underlined the need to forge military external relations, combat corruption and wastefulness and develop a socialist-oriented market economy.
