NA Standing Committee convenes seventh session
VOV.VN - The 14th National Assembly’s Standing Committee opened its seventh session in Hanoi on February 20.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said the Standing Committee will give opinions on some several arguable issues of the draft law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Penal Code and the draft law on irrigation.
Other topics include the issuance of a government decree regulating specialized mechanisms and policies for Ho Chi Minh City, and the list of Vietnam’s national projects, and the specific capital distribution for each project in the national medium-term public investment plan until 2020.
They will also comment on the NA Standing Committee’s draft resolution on the benefits for and conditions ensuring NA deputies’ activities, and contents serving as the basis for the Government to carry out works, including a list of projects and the capital allocated for each project in the 2016-2020 mid-term public investment plan.
The session will conclude on February 21.
