NA Standing Committee convenes 49th session
VOV.VN - The Standing Committee of the 13th National Assembly on June 13 opened its 49th session to make preparations for the 1st meeting of the 14th National Assembly.

The meeting also discussed the agenda for the upcoming first session of the 14th National Assembly.
In the afternoon, the NA Standing Committee commented on a submission by the Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court on the uniforms of judges and jurors and their certificates.
NA deputies also listened to a submission by the Head of Supreme People’s Procuracy on allowances for prosecutors.
The session will close on June 16. The committee will scrutinize the legislative program for 2017, give comments on the enforcement of the Law on Thrift Practice and Waste Prevention in 2015 and the State budget balance in 2014.
They will also hear a report on the results of the elections to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2016-2021 tenure.
