US group Platinum Dragon Empire Incorporated has submitted a plan to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s People’s Committee to develop a Disneyland-style theme park and an aquarium complex in the coastal town of Vung Tau.

Ba Ria Vung Tau authorities have agreed to lease land to the group to implement the project, which is capitalised at US$500 million.

Around US$300 million will be invested in the construction of a theme park named “Wonderful World” on an area of nearly 200 hectares in Bai Trung area while the remaining sum of money will be poured in building an aquarium complex on Nghinh Phong Cape.

The project will take more than two years to complete.
