Vietnam, Namibia hold political consultation

A political consultation between Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga and her Namibian counterpart Peya Mushelenga took place in Hanoi on December 7.

The two sides reviewed cooperation over the past time and discussed measures to foster and expand future relations in the fields of politics, agriculture-fishery, trade-investment, health care, education-training, transport-communication as well as cooperation between the two foreign ministries.

They also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual concern.

They agreed to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels, including those between their major cities in order to strengthen mutual understanding.

They vowed to continue supporting each other at multilateral forums and international organisations such as the Non-Aligned Movement, South-South cooperation framework and the United Nations.

During his Vietnam visit from December 5-8, Peya Mushelenga had working sessions with leaders of the Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Education and Training, and Transport.
