US presents insignias to Vietnamese partners
(VOV) - The US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City has recognized eight Vietnamese and foreign partners with insignias in its Public-Private Partnership (PPP) programme during a ceremony on December 14.
The awarded partners have made active contributions to the fight against human trafficking, supporting exploited children, and offering services to help affected girls and women reintegrate into the community. They have also shared business knowledge and experiences with emerging enterprises and promoted trade and respect for intellectual property.
This is part of the Global PPP Week, sponsored by the US State Department to celebrate the success of cooperative programmes implemented by the US and its Vietnamese partners.
US Embassy in Vietnam’s Deputy Chief of Mission Claire Pierangelo stressed the importance of the PPP model, saying it aims to help Vietnam build a bright, independently sustainable future.
