Sen. Lt. Gen. Tuan said leaders of the Defence Ministry and the General Staff of Vietnam will continue providing favourable conditions for effective cooperation between both sides, serving defence-security activities in each country.
The same day, he met with a delegation of Bangladesh’s national defence college.
Tuan said though defence cooperation between the two countries has developed, it has yet to meet potential.
Leaders of Vietnam’s Defence Ministry and General Staff want the two sides’ military units to increase cooperation, exchanges and experience sharing to enhance mutual understanding, he noted.
He voiced his hope that the two armies will have closer and more effective collaboration in personnel training and sharing experience in joining UN peacekeeping operations.
