Romanian Prime Minister to visit Vietnam

Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos will pay an official visit to Vietnam from July 11 to 14.

The visit is made at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. 

Vietnam and Romania established diplomatic relations in 1950. 

Their two-way trade revenue soared from over US$10 million in the 1995-1999 period to US$175.6 million in 2015. 


Vietnam mainly ships coffee, seafood, clothing, footwear, electronic products and computers to Romania and imports wheat flour, machines and chemicals from the European country.
