RoK Consul General honoured
(VOV) - Pak Soo-kwan, honorary consul general of Vietnam in Busan-Gyeongnam, the Republic of Korea, has been awarded Vietnam’s Friendship Order.
Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, who is on an official visit to the RoK, conferred the Vietnamese State President’s Order on Pak at a ceremony in Seoul on December 7.
In his speech, Ambassador Tran Trong Toan noted that during the past three years, Pak has made every effort in promoting people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK, especially in assisting the Vietnamese community in his country.
He expressed his hope that the Korean diplomat will make more contributions to cementing the friendship between the two countries.
