President Quang hosts Danish diplomat
VOV.VN - President Tran Dai Quang said Vietnam treasures its traditional friendship with Denmark at a July 20 reception in Hanoi for newly-accredited Danish Ambassador Charlotte Laursen in Hanoi.

He expressed his belief that the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), which will be signed soon, will open cooperative opportunities for both sides, including their business communities.
President expressed his delight at the flourishing bilateral ties over recent years, especially after the two countries established a strategic partnership in climate change, energy, environment and green growth in November 2011 and a comprehensive partnership in September 2013.
Ambassador Laursen in turn said Danish investors are interested in the Vietnamese market and that many Danish companies are already successfully operating in areas such as food, agriculture, and aquaculture in Vietnam.
She added both countries have great potential for deepening their relationship in the future.
Regarding the celebration of the 45 th anniversary of diplomatic ties, the diplomat told the State leader her nation has prepared a broad array of activities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for the event.
