President meets OVs , former Cuban experts
(VOV) - On September 30, President Truong Tan Sang visited the Vietnam Embassy and held talks with embassy staff and former Cuban experts in Vietnam as part of his official visit to Cuba.
President Sang said Vietnam valued Cuba’s support for the two countries’ fraternity and comprehensive cooperation over the last 5 decades, adding that Vietnam will forever be a sincere and loyal friend to Cuba.

“What we have achieved in the two countries’ relations can be attributed to the efforts of our people, Parties, and states. Vietnam will never forget the saying of the Cuban leader Fidel Castro: “For Vietnam, Cuba is ready to give its own blood,'" he said.
The State leader said that the normalization of Cuban-US relations has been the result of Cuba’s steady struggle over the last 50 years and that Cuba will continue to achieve new victories on its development path. He also affirmed the country's readiness to share its experience with Cuba in updating its economic model.

Sang also visited the Vo Thi Thang and Nguyen Van Troi Elementary Schools, which are named after two Vietnamese heroes.
