President hosts Japan's FEC leader

VOV.VN - President Tran Dai Quang on October 10 received Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Vice President of Japan’s International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC) and Chairman of the FEC’s Committee for Japan-Vietnam Cultural and Economic Exchange.

He said Vietnam will further improve the legal framework and policies to generate an open and stable business environment for foreign investors. Vietnam is working with Japan to carry out the 6th phase of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Imitative to improve the business environment in Vietnam. Vietnam considers the success of foreign investors its success, the State leader added.
He said progress in the regional connection process, including the establishment of the ASEAN Community, the signing of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and the negotiation for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), will bring new prospects for both sides in economic cooperation.
Mr Nakagaki said Japan’s ODA and businesses’ investment have contributed sizably to Vietnam’s development.
He expects the Vietnamese government to continue to support Japanese businesses in the future.
