The State leader hailed the cooperation between Vietnam’s Committee for Religious Affairs and Cambodia’s Ministry of Cults and Religion in delegation exchange and human resource training.
He suggested the two agencies should stay active in implementing cooperative programs and raise efficiency of cooperation in religious affairs, helping stabilize the border situation between the two nations.
" It is essential for the two agencies to continue offering favourable conditions for the Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam and that of Cambodia to strengthen delegation exchanges and support each other in monk student training," Sang told his guests.
Senior Minister Him Chhem in turn affirmed that the Cambodian Government and people always bear in mind the support of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers to help Cambodia escape from the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime in 1979 so that it could revive and develop as it is today.
