PM Phuc welcomes Russia’s cooperation priorities
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, Konstantin Vasilievich Vnukov in Hanoi on November 29 during which, he appreciated cooperation priorities given to the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prime Minister Phuc pledged effective implementation of Russia's priority programme and favorable conditions for Russians to work on projects in Vietnam besides oil and gas joint venture Vietsopetro and called for Russia’s support to accelerate bilateral projects.
He agreed with the Russian Ambassador that the two sides need to bolster cooperation in agriculture and seafood, and urged the two sides to increase the effectiveness of the Vietnam – Russia Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee as the way to further the friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries.
PM Phuc also extended sincere thanks to Russia for providing valuable assistance to Vietnamese flood victims.
The ambassador praised significant events in bilateral ties this year, including visits by Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang to Russia and President Putin to Vietnam for APEC meetings and congratulated Vietnam on the success of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Da Nang.
Mr. Vnukov welcomed Vietnamese delegations participating in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum and similar events in Russia this year, saying they will provide opportunities for stronger cooperation between the two nations in future.
