Party leader welcomes Lao army official
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on August 2 received Director of the General Department of Politics of the Lao People’s Army Vilay Lakhamphong in Hanoi.

The Party leader pledged best conditions to promote cooperation between the two Ministries of Defense in maintaining political stability and social order.
He called on the two armies to uphold their tradition, be vigilant, successfully accomplish their tasks, and build stronger forces.
For his part, Lieutenant General Lakhamphong briefed his host on Laos’ current situation, cooperation outcomes between the two defence ministries and results of his talks with officials of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.
He promised to cooperate with the Vietnamese Defense Ministry to successfully fulfill tasks assigned to promote bilateral special solidarity for mutual benefit, peace, stability and development.
