Party leader hosts Cuban Communist Party delegation
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 24 received Jose General Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) Ramon Balague Cabrera who is attending the 3rd theoretical workshop with the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

Trong said reciprocal visits by high-ranking Party and State leaders and increased economic, trade and people-to-people exchange over the past years are vivid manifestation of the exemplary fraternal ties, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and loyal solidarity between the two Parties, States and peoples.
Jose Ramon Balague Cabrera appreciated Vietnam’s accomplishments during its 30-year of renewal and expressed his belief that Vietnam will reap even more significant achievements in implementing Party resolutions.
The workshop “Socio-economic development orientation and political and ideological missions in the resolutions of the 12th Congress of the CPV and the 7th Congress of the CPC was held on May 24.
Jose Ramon Balaguer also expressed his belief that Vietnam will continue reaping more successes in the implementation of resolutions adopted by the 12th National Party Congress.
Jose Ramon Balague Cabrera, General Secretary of the CPC on May 23 met with National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former President of the Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Association.
