Party chief hails special ties with Laos
Vietnam will do its utmost to preserve and ceaselessly foster their special solidarity with Laos for mutual benefit as well as for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Mr Trong also congratulated Laos on its successful hosting of the Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting and the Asia-Europe People’s Forum, and its official membership at the World Trade Organisation.
He expressed his belief that under the sound leadership of the LPRP, the Lao people will harvest greater achievements in the future and successfully implement the Resolution of the 9th National Party Congress.
The leader highly valued the cooperation between the two Commissions for Organisation, wishing that the agencies will continue close coordination and strengthen the exchange of views on theoretical and practical issues and experience in Party building, personnel and organisation work and training.
For his part, Chansy Phosikham thanked the Vietnamese Party, State and people for their great support and assistance to Laos. He affirmed that his commission will work closely with its Vietnamese counterpart to implement their cooperation agreements, contributing to successfully realising each Party’s resolutions.
On the same day, the Lao delegation had a working session with a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation led by its head To Huy Rua.
The two sides discussed issues relating to Party building and personnel work and how to implement cooperation programmes in the future.
