She emphasizes that the participation of nearly 500 deputies, including leaders from ministries, sectors, as well as 63 provinces and cities, at this important event shows the respect of the Vietnamese Party, State, and especially the NA for India.
For his part, President Kovind told his host that India attributes great importance to its time-honoured friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam across multiple fields and thanked the Vietnam NA for inviting him to give a speech during this event.
He said with confidence that this event, as well as Chairwoman Ngan’s Indian visit in 2016 and a recent exchange of the two countries’ parliamentarian delegations, will help to tighten ties between the two legislatures.
