NA leader hosts outgoing Chinese Ambassador
VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan hailed the contributions to promoting Vietnam-China cooperation by outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong while receiving the diplomat in Hanoi on February 7.

She congratulated Hong Xiaoyong on fulfilling his assigned tasks during his term in Vietnam and praised his contributions to ties between the two legislative bodies over the past three years, saying that leaders of the two law-making bodies and the Vietnam – China Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group have maintained regular visits and exchanges.
The top legislator also affirmed the NA's readiness to work with the Chinese legislature to effectively realize the cooperation agreement signed in 2015, increase the sharing of experience in parliamentary activities and its committees, particularly those regarding legislation, legal supervision and deciding on major socio-economic development issues, and providing mutual support in regional and global inter-parliamentary forums as well, she said.
Hong, in turn, thanked the Vietnamese NA and its Chairwoman for helping him accomplish assigned tasks during the tenure and pledged his continued support for the development of the Vietnam – China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the time to come.
