NA leader hosts Japanese Ambassador
VOV.VN - On October 6, National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan received outgoing Japanese ambassador to Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada.

The top legislator applauded the diplomat's contributions to upgrading the Vietnam-Japan relationship into an extensive strategic partnership and consolidating mutual political trust between the two countries.
She asked Ngan thanked the ambassador for his efforts to mobilize the Japanese government to grant Vietnam ODA of US$ 2.5 billion last year.
She also hailed the Japanese Ambassador’s contributions to enhancing bilateral legislative ties.
Hiroshi Fukada underscored the need to reinforce bilateral ties between Vietnam and Japan for the sake of peace and security in the region.
The diplomat said he was elated to see the Vietnam-Japan Strategic Partnership being promoted to the Extensive Strategic Partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia in 2014 during his working term in Vietnam and the two countries’ cooperation across the board has born fruits.
NA leader Ngan also promised to do her utmost to contribute to the success of the Vietnam visit by the Japanese Emperor and Empress slated for next year.
