NA leader greets first Secretary of Kazakhstan Communist Party

VOV.VN - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met with First Secretary of the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan (CPPK) Zhambyl A. Akhmetbekov on October 18 in Astana on October 18 as part of her three-day official visit to the country. 

The Vietnamese top leader said the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) has continued to go ahead with reshuffles to meet requirements of the revolution in the new period with the major purpose of serving people.  

Vietnamese people always bear in mind the valuable support the CPPK gave to them during their past struggles for national liberation and reunification, as well as the current cause of national construction and development, Ngan  told her host.

She said she praises all political parties in Kazakhstan for their recognition of great importance to the friendship with Vietnam, adding that her visit to Kazakhstan is designed to reinforce solidarity between the two nations.

Zhambyl A. Akhmetbekov, in turn, said his nation has carried forwards achievements of the October Revolution, paid heed to people’s lives and supported internationalism, noting that with around 104,000 members, the CPPK wins support of one million people. 

After the meeting, NA Chairwoman Ngan and her delegation left Astana for Hanoi, successfully concluding their trip to Kazakhstan.
