Leaders condole with Fiji over typhoon disaster

President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung have extended their condolences to Fiji President Jiojo Konousi Konrote and Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama over the serious human and asset losses recently caused by Winston typhoon.
Also on March 3, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also cabled a message of condolences to his Fiji counterpart Ratu Inoke Kabuabola.
The tropical cyclone, which struck last month, killed at least 43 people.
An estimated 59,000 people, more than 6 percent of Fiji's population, are reportedly living in evacuation centers.
