Japanese PM to make official visit to Vietnam

VOV.VN - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife are due to pay an official visit to Vietnam from January 16-17.

The visit will be made at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties in 1973, the Vietnam-Japan relationship has made great strides forwards.

The bilateral economic partnership is growing steadily as Japan is Vietnam’s leading economic partner with two-way trade exceeding US$ 28 billion in 2015.
