Iranian President to visit Vietnam

VOV.VN - President of Iran Hassan Rouhani is scheduled to pay a State visit to Vietnam October 5-7 at the invitation of President Tran Dai Quang, according to the Foreign Ministry’s statement. 

Vietnam and Iran set up diplomatic relations on August 4, 1973. Over the past years, relations in politics, economy, trade, culture, education and science and technology have grown steadily.

In 2015, two-way trade hit US$107 million, in which Vietnam’s exports accounted for 72%.
