Indonesian defence minister visits Vietnam
VOV.VN - A three-day visit by Indonesia Defence Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu aimed at forging a stronger and shared military defence structure has officially begun, marking his first official visit to Vietnam.

The arrangement covers the procurement of military equipment in certain fields based on a government-to-government mechanism. It also covers specifics for the transfer of technology for certain military equipment encompassing assembling, testing, maintenance, modification, upgrading, and training.
During the visit, it has been announced, Minister Ryacudu will visit with Vietnamese defence industries and pay a high number of courtesy visits to other high ranking Vietnamese government and military leaders.
In addition, among other things, the two sides will focus on boosting future exchanges, defence policy dialogues, and supporting each other at multilateral forums, especially at the ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting (ADMM) and ADMM +.
