HCM City marks Bulgaria’s Liberation Day

VOV.VN - Bulgaria’s 138th Liberation Day (March 3) was celebrated in Ho Chi Minh City on March 4 by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association in the city.

In his speech, Bulgarian Trade Counselor in Ho Chi Minh City Oleg Marinov highly valued the love of people in Vietnam, and Ho Chi Minh City in particular for Bulgaria’s nation and people.

He highlighted March 3, 1878 as an important day in Bulgaria’s history, when the country restored its freedom.

Vietnam and Bulgaria established diplomatic ties on March 7, 1950.

Over the past few years, the two nations have exchanged high-ranking delegations and signed numerous cooperation agreements, providing a foundation for their long lasting, sustainable connections.

Two-way trade has posted an increase of 15-20% a year in recent times.
