HCM City leader meets AIA Corporation President
Ho Chi Minh City supports foreign investment in finance-banking, insurance and tourism, especially from AIA Corporation, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong said.

The city’s leaders pledge to work with foreign businesses, he said, adding that Ho Chi Minh City is devising a scheme to build a smart city by 2025 to better serve people and firms.
Tucker said AIA is pouring nearly US$40 billion into Asia.
With over 100 years of experience in doing business in Asia, AIA sees the potential of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City, he said.
The guest also expressed his wish to do long-term business in Ho Chi Minh City and suggested that technological advances and improved infrastructure is crucial for the city’s growth.
