Hanoi, Mozambique step up cooperation activities
Hanoi stands ready to share experience and provide support in agriculture and many other sectors for Mozambique, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has said.

He expressed his hope that in his tenure, the Mozambican diplomat will do his utmost to elevate the Vietnam-Mozambique relations to a new height as well as strengthen bonds between Hanoi and Mozambican localities.
Leonardo Pene, for his part, said that Mozambique attaches much importance to accelerating the development of agriculture, infrastructure, energy and tourism in its national development policies.
Besides the robust collaboration in agriculture with Vietnam, he wished that the cooperative activities will be expanded to other sectors, attracting the involvement of both state-owned and private enterprises.
He took the occasion to invite the working group of the municipal People’s Committee to attend the Business Forum held on the sidelines of the Vietnam-Mozambique Inter-Governmental Committee scheduled for October or November this year.
