Government leader hosts Serbian diplomat
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception on September 8 for visiting Serbian first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic in Hanoi.

He also applauded the result of talks between Dacic and his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Binh Minh, saying both sides discussed realistic and specific issues to direct their cooperation.
The Prime Minister also praised Vietnam and Serbia for their closer cooperation at international forums, including the UN, the UN Human Rights Council, and UNSECO.
He underscored the need to assist Vietnamese and Serbian firms in cooperating and studying each other’s markets as bilateral trade remains modest at US$25 million in 2016,
The cabinet leader also assured Vietnam's willingness to serve as a gateway for Serbia to reach Southeast Asian markets.
Mr Dacic, in turn said both sides agreed to boost economic and trade ties and called for stronger cooperation in defense and the regular visits of businesses to each other’s countries.
Dacic informed his guest about the outcomes of the talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, during which both sides agreed to stimulate trade partnerships.
He highlighted the necessity for both countries to support each other and work together at international forums, and to sign more cooperation agreements across different fields.
