Deputy PM meets Lao official
VOV.VN - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam met Laotian Prime Minister Thonglun Sisulit on their sideline meeting at the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit in Bangkok on October 10.

Deputy PM called for more exchange of high-level visits between Vietnam and Laos.
Both agreed to strengthen preparation for the celebration of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 40th anniversary of amity and cooperation treaty next year.
He also proposed more cooperation with international organizations in the sustainable management and use of water resources from the Mekong River.
The Lao PM in turn underlined the need to continue maintaining regular high-level visits and exchanges to increase the sharing of information and experience.
He hailed ministries, localities, businesses and peoples for implementing bilateral cooperation agreements and conventions over the past years.
