Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on March 18 sent a message of condolences to his Cambodian counterpart Samdech Techo Hun Sen over the passing of Deputy Prime Minister Samdech Vibol Panha Sok An.

The late Deputy PM, born in 1950, was a member of the Standing Committee of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP). He had served as the minister in charge of the Council of Ministers since 1998, and was promoted to the position of deputy prime minister in 2004.
