The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a congratulatory message on the royal birthday to his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also cabled congratulations to Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Taro Kono on this occasion.
