The event has attracted over 140 athletes from 15 martial arts clubs in the province who will compete in 12 categories of two events: Kata and Kumite.

The tournament, which will last until December 5, is co-organised by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the local Karatedo martial arts association.
