Tan, who is from HCM City’s Pedagogy University of Technology, will have the honour of representing Vietnam at the International Designer Show during Hong Kong Fashion Week 2009-the biggest show in Asia.

He will also receive a cash prize of VND20 million.

Second prize in the contest went to Nguyen Quoc Anh Vuong of HCM City for his collection Mua (Rain). Nguyen Thuy Hoa from Hanoi share third prize for her work Nguon Song (Wave Sources) with Nguyen Minh Ha from HCM City, whose collection was called Nhung Quy Ba Thuan Khiet (Purity Ladies).
