More than 1,000 spectators watched the show featuring designs by five popular designers namely Terry Stevens, Michael Alan Stain, Jahi Fitzerrald, Barbara Bate and Elie Kuame.

Present at the event were the Contributing Editor for Vouge magazine and America’s Next Top Model jury, André Leon Talley, Chairman of New York Fashion Week, Diane von Fürstenberg, US actress Tracee Ellis Ross and US actor Chavis Aaron known as Mr USA 2011.

The two Vietnamese models were scheduled to appear in a show by Adrian Alicea, a designer for top stars in New York, and Elena Vasilevsky, a winner of the 2011 Best Designer Awards with her ‘Rays of Sun’ collection.

Vietnam’s Next Top Model producer Le Thi Quynh Trang, said she was happy with the world famous designers’ recognition of Hoang Thuy and Tuyet Lan’s potential-a good signal for other Vietnamese models.
