The three-day festival, entitled “Tastes of the World”, attracted 19 international hotels and restaurants in the city, representing the dishes of 16 different countries.

The countries whose delights are on offer at the festival include Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, the US, Italy, India, Mexico, Malaysia, Russia, Japan, the Philippines, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Brazil and China.

A seminar on Vietnamese cuisine and culture and a cookery competition will be held during the event, which is co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Saigontourist Travel Service Company.
