Seven countries and territories around the world have registered to take part in the event, namely Cambodia, Germany, the Philippines, Indonesia, New Zealand, Canada and Taiwan, according to the organising board.

Preparations for the event have all been completed.

During the festival, numerous activities will be held, such as kite flying shows by children and sponsors, and performances featuring the history and origin of kites in each country.

On March 28-29, kite-flying groups will perform at the main base of operations in Vung Tau City.
